French’s office to reopen shortly, support for constituents still available

OSHAWA — The Oshawa community office of MPP Jennifer French will be reopened as soon as possible after deer broke in through the window Sunday morning.

While clean up and repairs are underway at 78 Centre Street North — expected to take an estimated two days — people can still reach French and her community team at [email protected] or by leaving a message at 905-723-2411.

Thankfully, no staff or members of the community were hurt, and at least one deer was safely removed from another building in the neighbourhood.

“Our team has been anxious to know that the deer would make it through their Oshawa adventures safely,” said French. “We appreciate the care and action of the police and animal authorities on this unusual day.

“Our office plans to be back in operation quickly after some repairs, and we hope any Oshawa businesses impacted by today’s visitors are also back to business as usual quickly.”
