First elected in June 2014, Jennifer French is the Member of Provincial Parliament for the riding of Oshawa. MPP French serves as the official opposition critic for Infrastructure, Transportation & Highways.
As a dedicated educator, Jennifer has over 10 years’ experience teaching in Ontario and abroad. She actively gives back to her community as an advocate for equity, social justice, and strong public services.
Jennifer also has a committed record fighting for workers’ rights. She has been an active member of the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario (ETFO) in Durham, involved with the Ontario Federation of Labour, and the Durham Region Labour Council.
Jennifer is proud to serve in the Legislature and works hard to ensure that people have access to good jobs, a strong publicly funded education system, and a voice in their community. She is a strong advocate for the people of Oshawa and is committed to bringing meaningful change to her community.
