Auto Insurance rates have skyrocketed for Oshawa residents.
In a recent edition of Oshawa This Week, the front cover highlighted a report that automobile insurance rates throughout the Durham Region decreased, while Oshawa residents experienced an increase of nearly 15% in the last year alone.
Auto insurance postal-code discrimination and price gouging have been long-standing issues for families throughout Ontario. Automobile drivers with clean records continue to pay too much, while trying to make ends meet.
The Ontario NDP has long called for immediate action to end the practice of car insurance postal-code discrimination with various Private Member Bills.
Oshawa residents need to be treated fairly when it comes to auto insurance.
